Melinda has over 20 years of Generalist experience in Human Resources, having worked in various HR leadership roles across multiple industries prior to joining HR/Advantage Advisory.
Melinda is a trusted advisor to clients, as they look to her for her expertise and guidance throughout the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting to the end of employment. Melinda supports businesses with due diligence of the HR function for M&A transactions, she conducts thorough assessments of existing HR operations, and she helps clients implement solutions for continuous improvement. Melinda also services clients in a variety of other ways, such as assisting with HR system implementations and she delivers a variety of training programs. Melinda has served as an interim HR Leader when an unexpected vacancy occurs or she can provide temporary on-site support to businesses who need an HR presence for a period of time.
Melinda earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at West Virginia Wesleyan College. She is a Six Sigma Green Belt and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
