Dr. Pritesh Kumar is Head of Capital Markets at Achio Capital Partners. Dr. Kumar is a highly regarded scientist and entrepreneur with a deep understanding of the legal cannabis industry, including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Kumar was the founder and Managing Director of PhytoSciences GmbH, a Swiss-based consulting firm comprised of 100+ scientists & analysts across the EU, India, Canada, Africa, and USA. The firm advised stakeholders in the areas of investment due diligence, analytical testing, clinical trial solutions, novel drug delivery technology development, and commercial bioprocessing. Under his direction, the firm assisted start-up companies raise over $150M USD in equity & debt financing.
His professional working experience includes working in the academic, private and public sectors. He has held senior roles for several cannabis companies in Canada and Europe that have experienced both public and private exits. Dr. Kumar previously served as the CSO for PharmaCielo Ltd (TSXV: PCLO) (OTCQX: PCLOF), a Canadian company with operations in Colombia, South America. He was responsible for the company’s R&D, global business product development strategy, and Phase I development of a state- of-the-art GMP pharmaceutical cannabis bioprocessing plant. Dr. Kumar previously served as an Advisor to the WHO (World Health Organization) based in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role, Dr. Kumar provided consultation services to the 40th Meeting of the Expert Committee on Drug Dependence regarding Cannabis Toxicology.
His academic working experience includes serving as the Director of Cannabinoid Research at Canadore College in Canada. Previously, Dr. Kumar was Adjunct Faculty & Scientific Advisor for Addis Ababa University, School of Pharmacy (SoP) in Ethiopia. Dr. Kumar has been published in numerous scientific journals including the European Journal of Pharmacology, Pharmacology and Physiology, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science and Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, and Advances in Skin and Wound Care.
He holds both a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology, with a focus in cannabinoid (cannabis) pharmacology, from the University of Louisville, Kentucky USA. Previously, Dr. Kumar conducted pharmacological testing of FDA- approved drugs as potential ligands for the cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2) and investigated the pharmacology of cannabinoids.

Randy Lanier was formerly well known as a race car driver with Ferrari and Porsche, winning the 1984 International Motorsports Grand Touring Phototype Championship as a privateer team. He also holds the title of the 1986 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the year. Randy’s success in motorsports was overshadowed in 1987 when he was convicted and sentenced to life in prison as the principal administrator of an organization, that imported marijuana.
Randy served three decades in maximum security prisons. While serving time, he became a yoga instructor, mentor, and a suicide companion. Since his release in 2014 Randy has been working as a behavioral health technician within the substance treatment industry, teaching meditation, yoga, and tai chi to many Afghanistan Veterans. He also has a podcast called “Randy Lanier Smoked”, he is a Brand Ambassador for two public traded companies, a high-performance driving instructor, Oaksterdam student, and currently has a Netflix Documentary on the series Bad Sport called “Need for Weed”. Randy is most rewarded with his job as the Vice President of a 501c3 Nonprofit organization called Freedom Grow. Freedomgrow.org supports cannabis prisoners and their families with a multitude of programs, such as the Wish Program that grants wishes to cannabis prisoners, such as magazines subscriptions, books, birthday wishes, and holiday wishes.
